About the role

The Resident Coordinator System is seeking a short‑term consultant to support the Economics and Monitoring, Evaluation & Results areas. Working under the direct supervision of the Economist Officer and the Monitoring, Evaluation & Results Officer, the consultant will help strengthen analysis, information management, and coordination processes for the new Cooperation Framework.

Key responsibilities

• Organise logistics and technical aspects of workshops, meetings and events, including agendas, participant lists, materials, minutes and agreement systematisation.
• Collect, clean, organise and update databases related to the Cooperation Framework, SDG indicators and strategic economic analyses.
• Prepare charts, graphs, visualisations and presentations for technical reports, inter‑agency briefings and meetings with national counterparts.
• Systematise inputs from consultations, workshops and technical meetings, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
• Draft and edit reports, technical notes, monitoring matrices and strategic presentations according to UN editorial standards.
• Update monitoring repositories, result matrices and tracking dashboards.
• Accompany field trips and meetings with strategic partners, providing technical preparation and result documentation.
• Perform other technical and operational tasks as assigned by the office priorities.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma (Bachillerato) is required.
• Student currently enrolled in a degree programme in economics, business administration, public administration or a related field.
• Advanced level of Spanish.
