Analytical Laboratory Technician I

About the role

Abbott is seeking an Analytical Laboratory Technician I to join its Structural Heart Division in the Coyol Free Zone. The role supports manufacturing operations by performing routine chemical and raw material testing while ensuring high documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute routine laboratory tests on chemicals, solutions, and raw materials for manufacturing.
• Review test results and documentation, identifying errors or inconsistencies.
• Perform laboratory support tasks such as washing glassware, receiving samples, cleaning work areas, ordering supplies, and managing paper documentation.
• Contribute ideas for improving laboratory documents and maintain 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Assist the manufacturing site with low‑impact investigations.

Required profile

• Advanced student or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Laboratory Analysis, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in a similar laboratory role.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain safety, and work in shift hours (Monday‑Friday 3:30 pm‑10:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am‑3:30 pm).
• Basic proficiency in English.
