Global Lead Project Manager – Remote (Costa Rica)

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Global Lead Project Manager to drive end‑to‑end clinical trial projects from a remote location in Costa Rica. The role acts as the primary liaison between the project sponsor and the organization, ensuring delivery of quality, schedule, and budget while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization, managing escalation pathways and communication rules.
• Accountable for overall project delivery, including time, cost, and quality, and for financial stewardship of the contract.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate vendor management, and ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a Global Lead Project Manager in clinical trials, with demonstrated vendor management across multiple therapeutic areas.
