Analyst (Business Operations)

About the role

The Business Operations Analyst will join Roche's Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) to manage data contracts, third‑party agreements and related finance processes. Acting as a liaison between US business partners, vendors and internal teams, the analyst ensures contracts are executed efficiently, compliantly and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end lifecycle management of data contracts and third‑party agreements, coordinating with Procurement, Legal and external vendors.
• Lead vendor onboarding, securing approvals and system setup with the Vendor Master Data team.
• Validate use cases and data sources for agreements to maintain compliance and prevent unauthorized access.
• Maintain contract documentation, monitor status and resolve any issues during the TPA process.
• Track budgets, update master contract sheets and reconcile purchase order amounts with finance systems.
• Support procurement by generating purchase orders and managing work breakdown structure (WBS) codes for multi‑split contracts.
• Document current workflows and identify opportunities for process optimisation.
• Conduct data assessments, gap analyses and ad‑hoc analyses to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experience managing data contracts, third‑party agreements or similar contractual processes.
• Strong understanding of finance and budgeting operations, including PO reconciliation and accrual management.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Procurement, Legal, Finance and external vendors.
• Attention to detail and capability to ensure compliance with data usage policies.
• Analytical mindset with experience performing data assessments and gap analyses.
