Analista de Créditos – Evaluación Financiera

About the role

The Credit Analyst will perform financial analysis of individuals and companies applying for credit or leasing, supporting credit decisions in line with internal policies, SUGEF regulations and best practices of the financial sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze credit and leasing applications, assessing payment capacity, guarantees and other credit variables.
• Visit clients and verify socio‑economic, commercial and patrimonial information relevant to the request.
• Prepare credit and leasing studies, recommendations and present them to the appropriate approval levels.
• Generate weekly reports on the status of analyzed and pending credit/leasing requests.
• Support contingency and continuity plans as required.
• Calculate and interpret client financial indicators (liquidity, indebtedness, coverage, profitability) to substantiate recommendations.
• Assist in updating procedures and instructions for credit analysis and approval processes.
• Provide support for internal, external and supervisory audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and current regulations (SUGEF, Law 8204).
• Meet response deadlines, reporting any deviations to the Credit & Collections Manager.
• Monitor assigned portfolio clients, reviewing financial and legal documentation to keep information current.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge in credit analysis and evaluation for regulated financial entities.
• Familiarity with SUGEF regulations, corporate governance, credit risk and Law 8204 on anti‑money‑laundering.
• Advanced understanding of Conassiff 14‑21.
• Experience with best practices in financial and business analysis.
