Americas Internal Communications Specialist

About the role
The Americas Internal Communications Specialist will support internal communications across TransUnion’s Americas regions—including Brazil, Canada, LATAM—and the Costa Rica Global Capability Center. Reporting to the Americas Internal Communications Manager, the role helps colleagues understand the company, connect with one another, and contribute to business success. This is a remote position with occasional in‑person events as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Support internal communications strategies and initiatives across Brazil, Canada, LATAM and the Costa Rica GCC.
- Develop and deploy content for email, intranet, presentations, videos, websites, digital signage, social media, Q&A documents and executive talking points.
- Identify and promote stories that strengthen TransUnion’s employer brand and associate experience.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to align communications with corporate messaging and business priorities.
- Lead planning and execution of internal corporate events such as town halls and external branding activities like conferences and workshops.
- Manage multiple communication projects, balancing priorities, deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
- Measure communication effectiveness through analytics and reporting, using insights to improve future campaigns.
- Collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to deliver communication and branding activities.
- Support regional communications transformation by leveraging best practices and playbooks from the Costa Rica GCC.
- Contribute to broader Corporate Affairs & Communications projects as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 + years of professional experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication expertise with experience creating content for diverse audiences and platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to deliver strategic communication initiatives.
