Technical Writing Intern

About the role

This onsite internship at HPE focuses on creating and improving technical documentation such as user guides, release notes, API docs, FAQs, and knowledge‑base articles. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and subject‑matter experts to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging content.

Key responsibilities

• Create, edit, and polish various technical documents including user guides, release notes, API documentation, FAQs, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject‑matter experts to understand technical concepts and produce clear, engaging content.
• Contribute ideas to enhance documentation usability and explore AI tools to improve writing efficiency and consistency.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a natural curiosity for technology and AI.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Team‑spirit, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Oxygen/Tridion, Confluence, Jira, or SharePoint.
