Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist – Arrange Delivery

About the role

As a member of Kuehne+Nagel's Freight Forwarding team, you will coordinate ground transportation for import cargo, ensuring that shipments arrive at airport terminals and customer facilities on time and in compliance with air‑freight schedules. This position plays a vital part in delivering a wide range of goods—from medicines to machine parts—supporting customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and compliant delivery of import cargo to customer sites and airport terminals, aligned with air‑freight schedules.
• Prepare and manage documentation accurately to prevent delays, misrouting, or mishandling.
• Track shipment readiness continuously and verify adherence to carrier cut‑off times.
• Communicate proactively with trucking providers and internal stakeholders to anticipate and resolve issues.
• Follow safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and customer‑specific handling instructions.
• Identify risks early and take corrective actions to maintain high service standards.
• Apply SOPs, toolkits, and company guidelines to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree or relevant freight‑forwarding experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work overtime or on holidays as needed.
• Team player with a goal‑oriented approach.
• English proficiency at least B1 level.
• Availability for a rotating schedule that may include day, night, or mixed shifts.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
