AI & Data Security Engineer

About the role

The AI & Data Security Engineer will lead the technical security strategy for artificial intelligence and data across the enterprise. Working remotely, you will partner with global IT and business teams to ensure AI solutions are designed, built, and operated with robust security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and security assessments for AI‑enabled solutions from design through implementation.
• Develop and maintain security standards, patterns, and engineering practices for AI and data protection.
• Drive enterprise initiatives on data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure data governance.
• Partner with AI, application, and business teams to secure data throughout the AI lifecycle.
• Participate in incident response, ensure observability, logging, and monitoring for supported technologies.
• Maintain operational work queues, documentation, and implementation guidance.
• Promote continuous improvement through automation and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, application security, or data security.
• Practical knowledge of AI concepts such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and prompt‑injection risks.
• Understanding of enterprise data protection, classification, and DLP controls.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and contribute to day‑to‑day security operations.
