About the role
The Administrative Services Manager will lead a team of Administrative Assistants at BCG’s Nexus Costa Rica office, providing day‑to‑day support to consulting project leaders. Reporting to the Administrative Services Senior Manager, you will ensure high‑quality administrative service for both internal and external clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of Administrative Assistants, overseeing assignments, schedules, and performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between assistants and project leaders, understanding client needs and allocating resources effectively.
- Coordinate backup coverage for sickness, leave, and vacations to maintain uninterrupted service.
- Oversee weekly timesheets, expense reports, and overtime requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and training to the team, partnering with senior management on performance reviews.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new administrative staff.
- Identify and drive improvements in quality, morale, and teamwork across the administrative function.
Required profile
- Strategic mindset with strong leadership and performance‑management capabilities.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders, especially project leads.
- Ability to balance team advocacy with business needs and resolve expectation misalignments.
- Proven experience in managing administrative or support teams in a professional services environment.
