Accounting Specialist – AP & AR (U.S. Visa Required)

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will support finance operations in a global distribution and supply‑chain environment, focusing on both accounts payable and accounts receivable. The role involves processing vendor invoices, issuing customer invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process inventory and non‑inventory vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Generate and monitor customer invoices, follow up on overdue balances, and support collections.
• Onboard and maintain vendor and customer master data according to control procedures.
• Execute timely vendor payments and customer receivable collections.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation for AP/AR workflows.

Required profile

• Solid foundation in accounting principles with exposure to US GAAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global setting.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to resolve ledger discrepancies promptly.
