Accounting Analyst – R2R & System Implementation

About the role

The Accounting Analyst will own end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities while supporting financial system implementations and new business launches. The role ensures accurate month‑end close, financial integrity and production readiness through strong accounting expertise, UAT participation and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close tasks including journal entries, sub‑ledger close, account reconciliations, balance‑sheet analysis, amortizations, depreciations and financial reporting.
• Perform P&L and balance‑sheet variance analysis, identify root causes and communicate findings.
• Lead accounting workstream for system implementations and new business launches: coordinate UAT, execute test cases, document results and validate data.
• Review chart of accounts configurations and journal entry flows to ensure accuracy before go‑live.
• Apply accounting principles, internal controls (ICFR) and controllership standards, identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Technology teams to resolve testing and operational issues.
• Identify automation opportunities, leverage AI tools and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track project timelines, risks and deliver progress updates to leadership.
• Support GRC compliance activities and risk control assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or currently pursuing).
• 2+ years of experience in transactional accounting or R2R, including month‑end close and reporting.
• Proven ability to work independently, make sound accounting decisions and propose solutions.
• Experience reviewing accounting records and chart of accounts for system go‑live.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
