Accounting Analyst – Finance Operations & Accounting

About the role
Amazon’s Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team is looking for an Accounting Analyst to support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, prepare reconciliations and perform balance‑sheet analysis. The role contributes to the efficiency and compliance of accounting processes in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Execute month‑end and quarter‑end close activities on schedule and in line with Amazon’s standards.
- Prepare local accounting reports for central accounting and tax teams.
- Support or lead small accounting‑related projects that improve controllership and operational efficiency.
- Leverage AI, accounting systems and process improvements to optimise workflows.
Required profile
- 3+ years of transactional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (CEFR B2/C1).
- Strong ability to work independently, meet deadlines and deliver project outcomes.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
