Academic Advisor

About the role

The Academic Advisor will guide prospective students through the enrollment process at Universidad Central, providing detailed information on degree programs, benefits, and study plans. You will serve as the first point of contact, helping students make informed decisions about their academic future.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to incoming inquiries from new‑entry students.
• Advise candidates on available careers, benefits, and academic plans.
• Provide accurate information about the institution’s offerings.
• Maintain records of interactions and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• High school diploma (Bachillerato de Educación Media).
• Minimum six months experience selling intangible products (e.g., cards, telecommunications, insurance, funeral plans) or in debt collection.
• Experience in university environments is desirable.
• Availability to work 48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday until 12 pm, including holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (preferred).
