US Payroll Tax & Garnishments Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a US Payroll Tax & Garnishments Analyst to lead payroll tax reconciliations, filings, and garnishment administration across multiple jurisdictions. The role works closely with Payroll, Finance, HR, and external vendors to ensure compliance and continuous improvement of payroll tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage US payroll tax filings, reconciliations, amendments, and compliance activities using ADP.
• Perform quarterly and annual payroll tax reconciliations and maintain jurisdiction‑specific tax records.
• Review payroll tax setups and compare Workday HRIS data against ADP Workforce Now for accuracy.
• Process and resolve payroll tax notices, garnishments, and related issues promptly.
• Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll‑related general ledger accounts and support audits.
• Identify and implement improvements to payroll tax processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in US payroll taxes and garnishments within a multi‑state environment.
• 5+ years of payroll processing experience, including tax reconciliations and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ADP tax filing procedures and Workday reporting.
• Experience reconciling payroll‑related general ledger accounts.
