About the role
Join the leadership team of Böëna Lodges as a Travel Trade Sales Specialist based in San José. You will represent a portfolio of award‑winning eco‑lodges and drive B2B sales with global Destination Management Companies, travel agencies, and tour operators.
Key responsibilities
- Forge and nurture lasting relationships with local and international DMCs, travel agencies, and tour operators.
- Lead sales presentations, product trainings, and in‑person or virtual visits.
- Represent Böëna Lodges at industry events, roadshows, and fam trips.
- Design customized itineraries and quotations for high‑end partners.
- Execute B2B sales strategy, identify new growth opportunities, and report performance via CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling B2B communications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years of sales or account management experience with high‑end travel agencies, DMCs, or tour operators.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Costa Rica.
Required skills
- MS Office, especially Excel.
- CRM systems such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Reservations platforms.
