Travel Counselor Remote

About the role

We are looking for a remote Travel Counselor who will act as the face of our company, assisting both existing and new clients in planning and managing their travel efficiently. The role involves providing expert advice, handling reservations, and ensuring compliance with travel policies.

Key responsibilities

• Search for and confirm travel reservations for customers.
• Interpret and apply client travel policies, offering consistent consultation.
• Handle all regulatory requests and ensure compliance.
• Provide industry information such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and commercial relationships.
• Continuously update knowledge of the travel industry landscape.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a travel agent.
• Strong understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes.
• Advanced proficiency with the Amadeus GDS platform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
