About the role

The Maintenance Technician II reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and the Shift Leader and is responsible for keeping equipment availability at 98%. The role includes performing corrective and preventive maintenance, improving failure modes, and ensuring safe, compliant production in a regulated medical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in Safety, Health, and Environment activities such as trainings, inspections, audits, accident investigations, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Repair or replace worn parts on equipment and perform preventive mechanical adjustments.
• Follow equipment operation manuals, draw and interpret mechanical and pneumatic schematics.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for tools, parts, and equipment refurbishment.
• Assist the supervisor in directing assistant mechanics when required.
• Maintain proper operation of all facility equipment using written procedures and specifications.
• Investigate and resolve equipment problems as part of a team.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each work area.
• Execute PLC program changes according to 820CFR Part 11 and adhere to ISO, OSHA, and GMP standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing within the medical or other regulated industries.
• Technical education (e.g., Electrical, Electromechanical, Precision Mechanical) or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLCs, electricity, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
