Maintenance Technician 2 – Shift B

About the role

The Maintenance Technician 2 – Shift B is responsible for corrective, breakdown and preventive maintenance of production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and supporting continuous improvement in a medical‑device manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 1st‑line (curative) repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical and PLC‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety practices and relevant regulations (GDP, FDA, ISO 13485, etc.).
• Document and improve maintenance procedures, and coordinate contractor activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, determine root causes and support product/process renewal.

Required profile

• High school diploma; technical studies in maintenance, electromechanics, electronics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a medical‑device environment.
• Basic to intermediate English and proficient computer skills (Word, Excel).

Required skills

• Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, electrical and PLC troubleshooting.
• Electronics and electromechanical knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with GDP, FDA regulations, QSR, ISO 13485 and Japan regulatory requirements.
