Tableau Server Administrator (Remote)

About the role

Nortal is looking for a senior Tableau Server Administrator to join its LATAM remote team. You will support the Data Engineering group by managing the Tableau environment and related BI tools, ensuring reliable and scalable access to data insights.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Tableau Server for high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Manage user access, site permissions, and row‑level security.
• Configure and troubleshoot data source connections, including ODBC/JDBC drivers.
• Design, develop, and optimise Tableau dashboards to meet business requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve Tableau Server issues using Linux command‑line tools and log analysis.
• Support additional BI platforms such as Power BI and AWS QuickSight.
• Collaborate with AWS infrastructure (EC2, EFS, RDS, ALB, VPC) to sustain BI operations.

Required profile

• Several years of experience administering Tableau Server in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems and command‑line troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services supporting data platforms.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
