Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Platform Architecture & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and own modern enterprise infrastructure platforms. This hands‑on engineering leadership role focuses on platform architecture, automation at scale, and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own infrastructure platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, Windows and Linux environments.
• Architect and implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, including IaC‑first reusable modules and code reviews.
• Lead automation initiatives to eliminate manual work at scale.
• Own the full platform lifecycle: design, deploy, scale, and optimize.
• Design and support Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis.
• Define and improve disaster‑recovery strategy.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical quality across the team.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of hands‑on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience owning and operating production platforms at scale.
• Strong expertise in Terraform and/or Ansible for building reusable solutions.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with VMware and/or Nutanix, and Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes or other container platforms.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated ownership of infrastructure platforms end‑to‑end.
• Experience designing architecture, not just implementing.
• Creation of reusable IaC frameworks or standards used by others.
• Leadership in engineering standards or code‑quality practices.
• Driving root‑cause analysis and long‑term system improvements.
