System Engineer – Linux & Ansible Specialist

About the role

Re:Sources, the technology and business services arm of Publicis Groupe, is looking for a Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible and Linux administration. You will join a global team that supports a network of advertising, media and digital agencies, ensuring their infrastructure is reliable, secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Red Hat Linux environments, guaranteeing stability and security.
• Design, implement and manage automation workflows using Ansible, including Ansible Tower or Automation Platform where applicable.
• Develop basic Python scripts and interact with REST APIs to support operational tasks.
• Configure and optimise web servers such as Nginx and Apache for high availability and scalability.
• Monitor system health with tools like Nagios or Zabbix, analyse logs and respond to incidents.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, apply security best practices and support remediation.
• Manage source code and configuration files with Git and collaborate using Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams and architecture drawings.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Linux system administration, especially Red Hat.
• Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Hands‑on knowledge of web server technologies (Nginx, Apache).
• Familiarity with source control (Git) and basic Python scripting.
• Ability to work with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and perform security vulnerability assessments.
