SharePoint Platform Architect

About the role

Software Mind is seeking a seasoned SharePoint Platform Architect with more than 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise‑scale SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions. The role combines deep SharePoint expertise with cutting‑edge AI technologies to drive knowledge management, enterprise search, and productivity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and governance of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 platforms, covering information architecture, security, permissions, and content lifecycle.
• Design and deliver AI‑driven solutions using SharePoint Agents, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.
• Develop custom AI applications leveraging Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks and vector search technologies.
• Integrate SharePoint with Azure services such as Azure Functions, ADLS Gen2, Logic Apps, API Management, and Key Vault.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to enable reporting via Power BI and enterprise data platforms.
• Define and manage governance models, including user provisioning, RBAC, and compliance standards.
• Implement Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) B2B collaboration and identity governance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for automated site provisioning and SPFx deployments.
• Utilize LaunchDarkly or similar feature‑flag platforms for controlled rollouts.
• Provide technical leadership, set architectural standards, and mentor development teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in SharePoint architecture and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale SharePoint solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI integration within Microsoft ecosystems.
