SharePoint Administrator

About the role

The SharePoint Administrator will lead the technical management of Greif's Microsoft SharePoint Online environment. This position ensures platform performance, security, governance, and overall system health while enabling effective collaboration across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain site collections, subsites, hub sites, document libraries, lists, metadata, and content types.
• Support and enhance collaboration tools, including workflows, automation, and integration with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.
• Manage user access, permission structures, and role‑based access controls (RBAC); monitor activity logs for security compliance.
• Maintain search configuration, indexing, and content discoverability.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, page load delays, sync problems, and storage constraints.
• Develop and enforce SharePoint governance standards, create documentation, and provide training.
• Automate administrative processes and generate reports on usage, storage, and security metrics.
• Support migrations between cloud environments and from on‑premises to cloud.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Proven experience administering SharePoint Online in an enterprise setting.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security best practices.
