Senior System Support Specialist

About the role

DHL IT Services is looking for a Senior System Support Specialist to join its Endpoint Security team. You will help protect the platform estate – hardware, operating systems, databases, middleware, storage and containers – while shaping security standards across a global logistics leader.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve technical security standards for servers, databases and container environments.
• Monitor controls, detect threats and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Automate security processes and improve the overall security posture.
• Collaborate with platform architects, server support teams, Information Security, business units and project managers.
• Contribute to endpoint security solutions such as Extended Detection and Response (XDR), virtual patching, micro‑segmentation and data masking.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in system support or similar IT security roles.
• Strong understanding of cyber‑security attack vectors and design flaws.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle workload pressure.
• Advanced spoken and written English for cross‑region collaboration.
