Senior Manager, HR

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Senior Manager, HR to lead human‑resources initiatives that support a high‑performance, employee‑focused culture across its manufacturing sites. The role combines strategic planning, compliance oversight, and people development to help the company achieve its business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR practices and objectives, fostering a quality‑driven, empowered workforce.
• Develop and execute annual HR plans and programs aligned with site business needs.
• Create processes and metrics that support company goals and track HR performance.
• Manage the HR team, ensuring consistent application of policies and compliance with regulations.
• Identify strategic HR challenges, forecast obstacles, and propose solutions.
• Define and manage the HR budget, overseeing wellness, engagement, benefits, staffing, onboarding, and professional development programs.
• Respond to escalated HR and personnel issues, conduct confidential investigations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coach managers on employee‑relations matters, performance improvement, and progressive discipline.
• Stay current on HR trends and best practices, recommending implementations as needed.
• Perform additional duties as directed by senior management.

Required profile

• Fluent communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and strategic planning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all organizational levels.
• Highly organized, capable of prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
