Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

The Senior Credit Analyst supports Baxter Healthcare by evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, managing credit limits, and releasing orders on hold. This role ensures credit risk is monitored and mitigated across a defined region while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate new customer creditworthiness using the Credit Integration Solution and C2C Technology toolset.
• Monitor and reassess credit limits for existing customers based on market indicators and internal alerts.
• Manage the automated credit review process and intervene manually when required.
• Process online credit applications and release orders held by automation rules.
• Continuously improve credit release criteria to maximize automation.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Commercial teams on customer credit matters.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding credit requirements.
• Enhance credit reporting accuracy through partnership with IT and external technology vendors.
• Oversee bank guarantees, letters of credit, cash collateral, and netting agreements where applicable.
• Partner with Credit Team Lead and Global Process Owner to standardize and improve credit risk management globally.
