QA Engineer – Analyst (Entry Level)

About the role

Infoya is expanding its Quality Engineering Services team in Costa Rica and is looking for motivated new technology graduates to join as QA Engineers – Analysts. You will work alongside experienced developers and engineers on real enterprise applications, gaining hands‑on experience in modern, AI‑driven testing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases and testing scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups and sprint planning.
• Support SDLC and STLC processes and help improve testing standards.
• Maintain testing documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and analytical thinking.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage tasks and priorities.
• Basic knowledge of Java, CSS, and C+.
• Familiarity with software testing concepts is a plus.
• Internship experience in QA, development, or IT support is desirable.
