QA Automation Engineer (SDET) – Playwright & Selenium

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks for our digital engineering solutions. The role is fully remote, supporting our clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
• Build and execute functional, regression, integration, and API tests.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test data, and automation best practices.
• Ensure software quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or Automation Test Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
• Strong programming experience with C# and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of API testing (REST APIs, Postman, Swagger).
• Experience with data‑driven testing using XML and CSV files.
• Solid understanding of unit, integration, system and acceptance testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar) and version control systems.
