Project Maintenance Technician (cGMP Environment)

About the role

The Project Maintenance Technician provides hands‑on technical support in a regulated cGMP manufacturing environment. You will lead maintenance, repair, and equipment improvement activities to minimise downtime and boost operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical troubleshooting and problem resolution across multiple equipment types and locations.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on critical equipment and assess effectiveness.
• Diagnose equipment failures using drawings, schematics, and operating data, then implement corrective actions.
• Install, modify, and construct electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and safe chemical‑handling procedures.
• Develop work instructions for less‑experienced technicians and provide emergency after‑hours support.
• Support spare‑parts program management and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Train other technicians on basic repairs and operational procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in technical or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Interpretation of electrical ladder diagrams.
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other control systems.
• Experience with maintenance work‑order and inventory tracking systems.
• Installation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
