Premium Support Engineer Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Premium Support Engineer Specialist to join HPE’s Aruba team. The role is hybrid, with an expectation of two days per week on‑site at an HPE office, and focuses on delivering advanced technical assistance for Aruba ClearPass, AirWave and Central On‑Prem solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide premium technical support for HPE Aruba ClearPass, AirWave, and Central On‑Prem.
• Troubleshoot complex AAA, RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, PKI, and 802.1X authentication issues.
• Resolve AirWave monitoring, performance, and reporting problems and Central On‑Prem deployment, clustering, and device communication challenges.
• Perform packet capture, log analysis, and system debugging to identify root causes.
• Support integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, SAML, OAuth, and third‑party identity solutions.
• Manage critical customer escalations and coordinate with engineering for issue resolution.
• Assist customers with software upgrades, migrations, and deployment best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute corrective actions.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles, technical documentation, and process improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical review meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Proven experience in advanced network security and management support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑focused mindset.
