Systems Engineer (Endpoint Vulnerability Remediation & Patch Management)

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Systems Engineer to lead endpoint vulnerability remediation and patch management across Windows and macOS environments. The role combines hands‑on technical work with collaboration across IT, Cyber Security and business teams to ensure a secure and compliant endpoint landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute vulnerability scans, analyze findings and drive remediation while minimizing user disruption.
• Develop, implement and maintain OS and security patch deployment processes using Microsoft Intune and Qualys.
• Maintain security baselines for Windows and macOS endpoints, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Automate patching and remediation workflows with PowerShell and Bash scripts.
• Monitor, track and report patch compliance and remediation progress to stakeholders.
• Provide on‑call support, communicate remediation actions to business users and collaborate with IT and Cyber Security teams to prioritize vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in endpoint management, vulnerability remediation or patch management.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Intune, Qualys, PowerShell or related technologies are preferred.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Windows and macOS endpoint operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune for policy configuration and OS updates.
• Proficiency with Qualys or similar vulnerability and patch management platforms.
• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle (identification, assessment, prioritization, remediation, validation).
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
