Ops Accounting Analyst 1

About the role

The Ops Accounting Analyst 1 (Account Owner) ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timely reconciliation of assigned accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact for account‑related matters, maintaining balances in GREEN status and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to mitigate financial risk.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly certification of account balances using the eRecon platform.
• Complete account attestations in line with internal standards.
• Analyze end‑to‑end accounting flow from invoice entry to payment processing.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate at‑risk balances in partnership with Proof Owners.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of exceptions and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to stakeholders and management as needed.
• Support balance‑sheet reconciliation and cross‑functional accounting initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proven experience with reconciliation tools and ERP systems such as Oracle and eRecon.
