About the role

The Data Center Operator will ensure the smooth operation of our Costa Rica data‑center facilities. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with critical infrastructure, supporting both on‑site and remote tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the data‑center environment and operational conditions.
• Support electrical systems, UPS, cooling, racks and structured cabling.
• Respond to incidents and client requests promptly.
• Provide on‑site assistance and perform remote‑hands activities.
• Execute routine verification of critical infrastructure components.
• Assist with access control, physical security and maintain operational documentation.

Required profile

• Technical degree or current student in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Electromechanics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure, networking, technical support, electricity and/or cooling systems.
• Proficiency with Office 365.
• Desirable familiarity with ITIL, TIA‑942, UPS, structured cabling or data‑center infrastructure.
