North America O2C Operation & Performance Lead

About the role

The North America Order to Cash (O2C) Operations & Performance Lead will oversee and optimise the O2C function, delivering critical enterprise metrics such as DSO, cash‑flow and bad‑debt within a SOX‑controlled environment. The role protects a £2 bn receivables portfolio from default and fraud while driving cost‑to‑serve reductions, productivity gains and continuous improvement across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise Order to Cash operations, ensuring delivery of enterprise‑critical metrics (DSO, cash‑flow, bad debt) in a SOX‑controlled environment.
• Protect a £2 bn receivables asset from default and fraud risk.
• Identify and implement tools, automation and best‑practice initiatives to reduce financial risk, improve cash flow and minimise revenue leakage.
• Manage internal and external NAM resources, including the relationship with the BPO partner Genpact, aligning KPIs and driving cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with Customer Services, Commercial teams and local finance organisations to meet regional service‑level agreements.
• Lead performance improvement programmes, coordinate cross‑functional activities and support global continuous‑improvement efforts.
