About the role
The Accountant Associate will support the finance team by preparing core financial statements and maintaining accurate accounting records. This six‑month fixed‑term position offers the opportunity to work with US GAAP standards and modern ERP tools in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheet and profit & loss statements on a regular basis.
- Update journals, ledgers and other financial records to reflect business transactions.
- Verify data accuracy and produce financial reports and reviews.
- Design, modify and maintain computer‑based accounting systems.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and auditing policies and communicate findings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance (or in progress).
- 2‑4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Professional demeanor with ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
- Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management.
- Advanced technical understanding of US GAAP.
