Mobile Platform Technical Lead

About the role

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking a Mobile Platform Technical Lead to shape the way its mobile applications are built, tested, and delivered worldwide. This hands‑on leadership position focuses on strengthening and automating the mobile delivery platform while collaborating closely with engineering, QA, security, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the mobile delivery roadmap, mentor engineers, set direction, and remove delivery blockers.
• Design, build, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS applications across build, automated test, signing, and release stages.
• Own and automate the mobile release lifecycle, including versioning, certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, secrets, and deployment to the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Troubleshoot complex build, signing, pipeline, and store‑deployment issues while enhancing reliability, security, monitoring, performance, and developer experience.
• Partner with Mobile Engineering, QA, Security, and Product teams to establish scalable delivery practices and contribute to broader mobile engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile software development, Mobile DevOps, build engineering, release engineering, or related areas.
• Hands‑on experience shipping Android or iOS applications to production via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
• Practical knowledge of the mobile release lifecycle, signing requirements, and store submission processes.

Required skills

• Swift, Kotlin, Bash, Python scripting.
• CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Codemagic, CircleCI.
• Mobile signing and release management: certificates, provisioning profiles, keystores, secrets management.
• Experience with Apple App Store and Google Play deployment.
