Mid-Level Software Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level Software Engineer to join our development team on a contract basis. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable, enterprise‑grade applications using Java and related technologies, while also contributing to frontend components and cloud deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Manage Gradle‑based projects and configure build pipelines.
• Develop and enhance frontend features using AngularJS.
• Contribute Kotlin and Python code where appropriate.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend development background with Java.
• Exposure to frontend development and cloud‑based application delivery.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
