Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will partner with HR, Talent Acquisition and Operations teams to collect, analyse and report on HR data. This role supports workforce planning, employee engagement and performance improvement through data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support employee affairs including onboarding, off‑boarding, resignations and related HR activities.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR partnership for strategic and tactical initiatives across assigned business groups.
• Use data insights to inform HR policies, strategic decisions and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Develop, maintain and deliver reports on key HR metrics for HR, finance and operations teams.
• Assist legal processes related to employee relations and ensure compliance with Costa Rican labour law.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement opportunities in collaboration with HR teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar role, preferably supporting contact‑center operations.
• Strong knowledge of Costa Rican labour legislation.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+‑C1).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with statistical software or databases, such as SQL.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
