HR Operations & Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The People Operations & Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the employee lifecycle by administering HR and recruitment processes, providing day‑to‑day assistance to employees, managers, recruiters, and candidates, and ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent execution of procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, and maintaining ATS records.
• Coordinate pre‑boarding and onboarding activities, manage background and drug screenings, and ensure completion of new‑hire documentation.
• Provide responsive support to employees and managers on routine HR inquiries, policy interpretation, and employment verification.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, process Employee Action Notices, and conduct regular data audits.
• Assist with compliance initiatives, audit processes, handbook acknowledgments, and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field, or 1‑3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administration.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time‑management abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Customer‑service mindset with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and sound judgment for issue escalation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
