HR Services Team Manager – Global Services

About the role

As a member of the HR Services team at Kuehne+Nagel Global Services, you will lead a high‑performing employee services group that supports operations across the United States and Canada. The role focuses on delivering excellent HR service, driving continuous improvement, and fostering an inclusive culture that enables the logistics business to run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Process Managers, Process Specialists and Team Leaders, promoting accountability and growth.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, manage performance and support employee development.
• Set team objectives, allocate resources and ensure service level agreements and quality standards are met.
• Oversee candidate interviews, onboarding and induction for new hires.
• Monitor KPIs such as SLA, volume and overtime, and report to stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for Process Owners and stakeholders in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring responsive service.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives through Gemba Walks and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• University degree or technical studies in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
• Strong knowledge of HR services and HR operations.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities, including coaching and performance management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, multitasking and ability to work under pressure while maintaining detail.
