HR Business Partner

About the role

This Human Resource Partner position places you at the heart of workforce strategy for a fast‑growing organization in Cartago, Costa Rica. You will work closely with business leaders to shape HR initiatives that drive performance, engagement, and organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to design and execute HR strategies aligned with operational goals.
• Guide workforce planning, organizational design, and change‑management projects.
• Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Support talent acquisition efforts in collaboration with recruiting teams.
• Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.
• Facilitate training, leadership development, and DEI initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as an HR Business Partner or Generalist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving abilities.
