About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Social Management Manager to lead the social management strategy across five countries, overseeing community relations, social investment and human rights compliance within our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the corporate social and community development strategy.
• Lead engagement with communities, producers, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Manage social risks, human‑rights issues, conflicts and grievance mechanisms.
• Consolidate social indicators and prepare executive reports for senior management and sustainability reporting (GRI/ESG).
• Administer social investment programmes, corporate volunteering and CSR initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as RSPO, SA 8000, ISO 26000, IFC and ESG frameworks.
• Represent the group in industry associations, chambers and multi‑stakeholder platforms.
• Oversee the area budget, audits and improvement plans.

Required profile

• University degree in Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, Rural Development, Political Science, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in social management, sustainability, community relations or CSR.
• At least 3 years leading regional or multicultural teams.
• Experience with international audits and certifications, preferably in agro‑industry or palm oil sector.
• Intermediate‑advanced English (B2) and willingness to travel 40‑50 % of the time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of RSPO standards.
• Proficiency in GRI/ESG reporting.
• Familiarity with ISO 26000, SA 8000 and IFC guidelines.
• Social risk assessment and conflict management.
• Budget management and audit oversight.
