Forward Deployed Product Design Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Product Design Lead to transform complex product opportunities into coherent, buildable, production‑ready experiences. The role sits at the intersection of experience strategy, product design, consulting and software delivery, working directly with client leaders, users, product teams and engineers in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to clarify problems and define end‑to‑end experiences.
• Lead experience strategy, interaction design, information architecture and service design.
• Produce high‑fidelity designs and coded prototypes using Figma and modern front‑end technologies.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate prototype creation and iteration.
• Validate concepts with real or representative data, considering workflows, roles, handoffs, edge cases and failure states.
• Guide implementation through production, ensuring design systems, accessibility and responsive design are adhered to.
• Facilitate decision‑making and modeling of complex systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Significant experience designing and delivering complex digital products, preferably in consulting, enterprise or B2B environments.
• Strong foundation in product design, interaction design, information architecture, research, service design, accessibility and design systems.
• Portfolio showing involvement from early framing to shipped production.
• Ability to turn ambiguous business and user challenges into clear product models, workflows and interfaces.
• Comfortable working in remote, cross‑functional teams and leading through hands‑on execution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping approaches.
• Ability to create coded prototypes or production interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
• Experience with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of component libraries, responsive design, APIs, data models, version control and modern software delivery practices.
