Field Operations Manager

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Field Operations Manager to strengthen its local operations team in San Jose, Costa Rica. In this role you will ensure that field services have the resources, training, processes, tools and systems needed to deliver high‑performance results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead field services teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure SLA compliance for all field activities.
• Manage operational performance and key performance indicators.
• Optimize resource planning and utilization.
• Handle customer escalations promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain HSE and governance compliance.
• Control operational costs while improving productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing telecom field operations.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Familiarity with maintenance and service delivery processes.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
