Director, Manufacturing Strategy

About the role

Baxter is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute the global manufacturing network strategy. The role ensures the network delivers competitive advantage, long‑term performance, and supports growth and profitability across divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the end‑to‑end manufacturing network strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Lead capital planning, investment prioritization, facility lifecycle planning and cross‑division trade‑offs.
• Drive long‑range capacity planning, identify constraints and implement insourcing/outsourcing decisions for new product launches.
• Manage major network transformations such as plant rationalizations, tariff mitigation and large‑scale operational improvements.
• Integrate risk, resiliency and strategic planning into network decisions to sustain profit and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate annual strategy reviews, strategic issue analyses and investment prioritization with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant business experience in global device manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience leading teams, influencing stakeholders and developing talent.
