Data Engineer - III

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to support Boston Scientific’s manufacturing sites in Costa Rica. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical solutions that enable business users to access reliable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Create and maintain data models, ETL processes and BI solutions using SSIS, Python and GitLab.
• Build and optimise data extraction, transformation and loading workflows on AWS and SQL platforms.
• Enhance data architecture with a focus on security, quality, scalability and timeliness.
• Identify automation opportunities, recommend process improvements and follow best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners to align priorities and validate delivered solutions.
• Provide post‑deployment support and troubleshoot issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of data engineering experience.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
• Strong English communication skills (medium to advanced).
