Boomi Integration Lead – Enterprise Integration Architect

About the role

Penumbra is seeking a Boomi Integration Lead to design, implement, and govern enterprise‑wide integration solutions. You will ensure secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange across critical business applications in a global, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define integration architecture and strategy for cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP S/4HANA and systems such as Salesforce, UKG, ServiceNow, MES, and Active Directory.
• Develop reusable Boomi AtomSphere components, APIs, and flows while managing deployment topologies (Atom, Molecule, Atom Cloud).
• Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and operational support frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application integration and middleware platforms.
• Proven experience in a complex, global, regulated organization (medical device, pharma, biotech).
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence architectural decisions.

• Boomi AtomSphere, Boomi Flow, Boomi API Management.
• Bo​omi certifications (Professional Developer, Professional Architect or equivalent).
• SAP Integration Suite, Azure Integration Services.
• Integration with SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, UKG, ServiceNow, MES, Active Directory.
• API‑led connectivity, event‑driven architecture, canonical data models, messaging, file‑based integrations.
• API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, encryption, authentication, authorization).
• Design of scalable, resilient, secure cloud/on‑premise/hybrid solutions.
• Error handling, exception management, logging, monitoring.
