Data Compliance & Governance Analyst (Intermediate)

About the role

The Data Compliance and Governance Analyst will monitor, investigate, document and remediate alerts in analytical environments. You will help close control gaps, support process improvements and contribute to data‑strategy communications across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present data‑driven insights using Privacera and other data sources.
• Manage alerts to ensure proper role‑based access and usage of enterprise data assets.
• Collaborate on data‑governance audit and compliance programs, including remediation actions.
• Identify control gaps and weaknesses relative to applicable laws, regulations and policies.
• Document observations, recommendations and management response plans in written reports.
• Maintain a central repository for observations and track their resolution.
• Perform regular access, certification and data‑retention audits.
• Work with the Privacera vendor to implement improvements and resolve issues.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years experience in data security, information security or data governance.
• 2‑4 years experience in compliance‑related work.
• 2‑3 years experience configuring Privacera, including regex and design.
• 2‑3 years exposure to Google Cloud.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or any completed university degree.
