Cyber Risk Defense Consultant IV

About the role

The Cyber Risk Defense Consultant IV is an individual contributor responsible for monitoring, detecting, protecting, and maintaining the integrity and reliability of security data, systems, and networks. The role works closely with the Cyber Risk Defense Center (CRDC) to ensure proactive threat detection and effective incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive monitoring and response to known or emerging threats against the company network.
• Investigate, triage, and analyze security events, performing root‑cause analysis and data analysis.
• Coordinate and assign resources to meet business priorities, ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with policy engineers, remediation teams, and other stakeholders to contain issues and improve security posture.
• Participate in regular CRDC operations meetings and support information‑fusion activities such as use‑case planning, quality‑assurance validation, and documentation of response procedures.
• Identify improvement opportunities across cyber‑defense domains and contribute to intellectual capital through training sessions and process enhancements.
• Activate threat‑detection capabilities and execute incident‑response plans, including after‑hours support when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Social Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, communicate findings to non‑technical audiences, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
